Basti (Medicated Enema) — Panchakarma therapy
schedule Session Duration: 45 mins 100% Classical Shastra Protocols

Basti is one among the Panchakarma in Ayurveda, It is said to be the best treatment as it is regarded as the Panchakarma Treatment for all the problems in the body. This is because this Panchakarma Treatment is mainly done for the Vata doshas which are mainly responsible for more than half of the body and mind problems. An imbalance of Vata can cause many dreadful diseases like paralysis, Bell's palsy, and arthritis, to simple dryness of the skin.

Vata also possesses the quality of aggravating the symptoms produced by other doshas.

Secondly and most importantly, Basti Panchkarma can do both the works: purification (detox), as well as strengthening (Brahman). This means it can clean the body by detox as well as strengthen the body (increase weight and vitality) depending upon the choice of medicine.

Who Can Take Basti?

Basti is one of the safest modes of Panchakarma Therapy and can be given from kids to old age persons.

It can be given to healthy as well as sick people.

Some of the key indications are Vata disorders like paralysis, arthritis, lower back pain, sciatica, parkinsonism, colon detox, and other Vata-related neurological or joint issues.
