Procedure of Netra Tarpana

check_circle1. Eye Wash: The eyes are first cleansed with cooling medicated herbal water (such as Triphala decoction).

check_circle2. Dough Enclosure: Enclosures made of organic black-gram paste are built securely around both eyes.

check_circle3. Ghee Pooling: Soothingly warm medicated liquid ghee (Triphala Ghrita) is pooled into the enclosures. The patient opens their eyes and performs specific ocular movements (up, down, circular) under the warm ghee for 15 minutes.

check_circle4. Rejuvenation: The ghee is removed, eyes are wiped. The patient is advised not to look directly into screens or wash their face with soap for that day. Done in blocks of 7, 14, or 21 days.
